PnP, I did it jumping over a roll of Terram (about the size of a roll of carpet). or rather attempting to jump over a roll of Terram. My take off point was a rock which moved as I tried to jump and the ankle took my full weight (120 kg, fat b'stard) plus the force needed to clear the roll. It went over at 90 degress and I heard a horrendus cracking noise. The locals, trying to be helpful, decided massage and manipulation was the appropriate treatment until I threatened them with physical violence (which is difficult lying on the ground. After two days in bed I had to travel 6 hours along dirt roads to get to the airport and then had to walk up the airplane steps to board the aircraft. About halfway up the steps a bone decided to try to exit the right hand side of my left foot so it was a bit of a struggle. Heathrow was easy, they gave me a wheelchair and it took all of 10 minutes to clear customs. A taxi was waiting to take me to my local hospital.

Great result but I missed the prediction! No bloody internet at Lungi airport, Sierra Leone or the local hospital in Ashford. However, the nurses and doctors were brilliant, long live the NHS. Two broken bones and a bucketful of torn/detached ligaments, one metal plate later together with a plaster cast I'm back at home and as comfortable as I can be. The result against Bolton helped, it was better than a fistful of pain killers.

The tele has come out in sympathy with me and decided pack up so I'm relying on EBuyer 'next day' delivery to be able to watch the match on Sunday, otherwise it will be a jumpy internet feed.

As for the prediction, my missus has presented me a cup of tea in my Spurs 5 l'arse 1 mug so who am I to argue?

Villa 1 Spurs 5 Ade, VdV, Defoe, Bale and Danny Rose.

And before you ask Dona, yes, I had to leave the 'herbal pain relief' in Africa.

what have you been up to fella?

and yes i was going to make a few recommendations for pain relief!

get well soon Dee!

as for the league i need to consolidate 6th position.......with SuperSpurs and SolidSpur chasing me...i could follow thier predictions..but that is just bad sportsmanship....we must win...Harry Redknapp has started to turn up to work again and now he realises that Spurs is indeed his biggest job he will ever have in football...and he will demand success.....Aston villa 0 Spurs 2...i have faith that we will overcome the bus Villa park at Villa Park...see what i did there!

and i fancy VDV and Lennon to get us a goal each.

A song for Sunday...... and for the uncrowned king (no not Ledley) of the free-kick...........<magic>

IF YOU WANNA RIGHT BACK…

(with apologies to the Vaccines, of course!)

Well, I don't wanna wake up in the mornin',
If we’ve been beaten away.
I know what all those Gooner fans will look at us and say.

There’s no-one can do this independently,
It’s teamwork for today!
That's what we shall need to win at Villa Park today.

But if you wanna right back he's alright, he’s alright!
He's alright if you wanna right back!
If you wanna right back he's alright, he's alright!
Kyle's alright if you wanna right back for Spurs!

Well, we don't wanna see him in another team,
But our fear was that we may.
That's why we’re all so pleased he’s signed a new contract today. :emoticon-0150-hands

We’ve only got another couple of games to go,
And then we'll be okay.
So first we’ll beat the Villa by three goals to one today!

Champions League!
Champions League!
We, we must win today -
Europe, Champions League
We, we must win today -

But now we’ve gotta right back he's alright, he’s alright!
He's alright now we’ve gotta right back!
Yeah now we’ve gotta right back he's alright, he’s alright!
Kyle's alright yes we’ve gotta right back to stay!

Prediction: Villa 1 Spurs 3
Scorers: Walker, Defoe, Bale (surely this time?!):smiley-finger007:

Cheers, Spurf! <cheers><cheers>

For those that don't know the song Audrey's referencing:

Couldn't start a few chants at WHL could you? <laugh>

Aston Villa 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur.
Agbonlahor for them, van der Vaart, Bale and Adebayor for us.
