Good luck with the op hope all goes well.I went for a pre op 22nd December met the surgeon he told me I have a 30 % chance of not coming round from the op because of my long term illness and medical history and amount of tablets I take.he then cancelled the 2nd part of the session because he confessed he had never heard of my illness stills disease and he's a doctor ffs . Latest news is another pre op 2nd March gives them time to research everything .doesn't instill you with confidence does it
Thanks for your good wishes. My pre-op was the same day as yours, as it happens........ but no such problems (just predictions of severe post-op pains and unrelenting physios). On the whole, surgery doesn't distress me. I've had 12 ops in my (long!) life so far. [And I'm not supersticious!] Your situation sounds very unsatisfactory, however, and I sincerely hope it is resolved before your re-run pre-op in March. Here's hoping the medics are able to cope with your condition, and that you emerge more "rocky" (as in "like a rock") and less "rocky" (as in " shaky"). All the best!
Fortunately for my shoulder, no-one was ever tempted to describe my bowling as "fast"!!! Over the years, it simply declined from medium to slow!
Woh, that's grim going into an op. However as a Spurs fan you've had all your bad luck so you'll sail through. Just in case, do you want to predict through to the end of the season ? Seriously, wish you all the best with this. Odds are worth it if it improves your quality of life and I'm sure the doctors exaggerate the risks to cover themselves for those hung-over mornings when they cock it up.
Are you having them both done at the same time? If you are best of luck. It was bad enough when I just had one done. Get back on feet as soon as you can and keep the revised lyrics coming.
