The last couple of results have been tough to take, and there is an inevitable despondency in the Tottenham air. But such things have happened before, and all we can do is shrug our shoulders and look forward to the breaking of this bad patch. Don’t honestly see that happening this weekend. But it will just take one good win (v Burnley? Leeds? Middlesboro? Everton?) to get us up and running again. I mean, apart from the top 3, the other teams in the top half are hardly invincible. So why worry? And here are Mark and Emmylou to ask the same question (in one of my very favourite songs, by the way!).

Spurf, I guess those Wolves have made you sad -
That scoreline really was so bad! -
Now You-Know-Who - next game away!

But Spurf, please wipe away those bitter tears!

Just think about those glory years!
They’ll give you blue skies for today!
Why worry?
There will be laughter after pain!
There will be sunshine after rain!

The Spurs have always been the same!
So why worry
now?
Why worry
now?!
Spurf, when you're cast down and feeling blue,
And can’t make sense of what Spurs do -
Remember it’s not just today!
And Spurf, I know our team make us feel old!
It seems they’re scared of black and gold!
We’ll soon get back our winning way!
Why worry? What if Man City win again?
What if they cause us grief and pain?
Well - we have still got Harry Kane!

So why worry
now?
Why worry
now?
Prediction: Man City 4 Spurs 1
Scorer: Kane
Cheers, Spurf!
