Only one player scored and no surprise, as it's a loss, remembercolinlee with 10 points he moves into 19th place. On Wednesday, we are off to play on the roof of a car park in Monaco so the next prediction game will be at a newer ground than ours in Liverpool.

After the superbly energetic, positive start last Sunday, the second half was frankly depressing. It was as if all sense of purpose had been tipped away with the grouts from the half-time cuppa. The midweek Monaco adventure was still a bit flat, but thanks to the much-maligned Vicario we were able to maintain an unbeaten record (so far!). I’m hoping for a revival of the energy with which we began the season, and which led directly to our opening goal last weekend. And as a long-term Spur, I am well experienced in managing disappointment. But just this once, eh, Spurs? Let’s see a really committed, driven performance. Then our manager would not have to complain about the volume of vocal crowd support.
A choice between Guy Mitchell and Tommy Steele for this week’s song, won by the latter…..

Well, I never felt more like beatin' the Blues,
'Cos I never thought that we'd ever lose
To Villa! Now we must win away!
Well, I felt rather glum last Sunday night:
I’ve chosen this song, ’cos somethin’ ain’t right -
This won’t do! Let’s start by beatin' the Blues!

Our new young stars must start to shine
And win without a Number 9!
We need a goal from Kudus, true!
And one from Johnson, so it’s two (let’s just score two!)
Well, we made a good start with winnin' away -
I don’t wanna part, so I’ll always stay
(To) support you: c’mon, let’s flatten the Blues! :emoticon-0165-muscl

Prediction: Everton 0 Spurs 2
Scorers: Kudus, Johnson
Cheers, Spurf! <cheers><cheers>
