After we beat Wigan 9-1, they won their next game 1-0. Just saying.

I was at the match the other evening. I honestly didn’t see that game as meriting a 7-2 scoreline. The Bavarians were ruthless, making the most of every sniff of a chance. Better team than us, not arguing with that, but 4-2 would have been more fair – and we might have done even better than that if we’d netted our early chances. Held our own pretty well till that disaster goal on half-time. We should stop looking for scapegoats, though. They tested our reactions to the ball over the top early on, saw it worked and had potential, then left it until we were visibly tiring in the second half and started using it again….

Anyway, here’s Bonny to help cheer us up and strengthen our resolve for the weekend!
