We’re riding on the crest of a new-season-new-manager-new-players form wave right now. Let’s pray it does not meet a seawall! Brighton are a similarly tough proposition to Villarreal, who proved that the CL is a real step up from the EL. Hopefully we’ve learned a lot from that battle; and the opportunity will be taken to rotate a few players, especially if they stretched their legs to the limit. It'd be good not to lose to a team that has been enjoying a good sequence of results against us. Here’s Middle of the Road to entertain you!

He got the call one year ago,
Down at the seaside where we used to go.
Now in his office Hürzeler he is plannin'
One day there’ll be a showdown with some team he knows.

Well, he's been there a year or so -
His rise has happened very fast, I know.
You’ll see him readin’ his manual every mornin'.
I think that it's a warnin' he's doin’ the best he can!

You might hear the sound of fans all shoutin',
You might see them dancin’ in the s(t)and!
But the fact he’s manager of Brighton
I shall never understand.

While Spurs get three, his team score one –
And we’ll get Fabian quickly on the run!
We’ll hammer Brighton, cos we’re the team from Tottnam,
Avenge the same of last year -
And they’ll go down the pan!

(Kudus – Muani – Spence!) x 6

He got the call one year ago etc
You might hear the sound of fans all shoutin' etc
While Spurs get three, his team score one etc x 3

Prediction: Brighton 1 Spurs 3
Scorers: Kudus, Muani, Spence
Cheers, Spurf! <cheers><cheers><cheers>
