Lucas Bergvall has undergone surgery on his ankle, because of course he has.
Time to start filming a mini-documentary, I guess.

Ben Davies has had a second surgery on his ankle.
I hope we give him some sort of send-off, if he's played his last game for us.
Do a charity testimonial for a bunch of players, maybe? Davies, Son, Lloris, Vertonghen, Alderweireld...

Porro out for a month with a hamstring injury.

Another one we've completely run into the ground this season.

And last season. And the season before that.
We started Spence at left-wing against Burnley instead of Tel, too. Ludicrous.

Last season more injuries than any other club this season same again.

Supposedly we changed most of our medical staff in the summer and nothing changes.

All clubs get injuries but why do we suffer the most ?

Every day there seems to some sort of bad news with this club

It’s depressing.

A chunk of them were inherited from last season

That being said, the amount of additional fatigue due to monthly international breaks is taking a toll but no pundit wants to mention that, because it hasn't bitten one of their preferred teams

That and referees allowing open season on our players, even the ones out on loan, isn't helping

We changed our medical staff for Brentford's, who also had loads of injuries, apparently.
Frank also has no experience of managing a club in European competition and the league.
He's failed to rest and rotate enough, so we've lost a bunch of players unnecessarily.

Udogie out for 5 weeks. Hamstring.

That's his fourth injury of the season.

Noting that he arrived at the club injured and has already missed 38 games since joining.

Time to cash in and get rid I'm afraid.

We just don't have the time or scope to be carrying players who miss dozens of games every season.

Agreed, and a real shame. Back to Italy?

We should've started the season with at least one additional fullback.
Walker-Peters was free and would've taken an open club-trained spot.
The inherited crock situation was always going to screw us, though.

Reactions: Citizen Kane.
Reports are saying that Kulusevski is going to be omitted from Sweden's squad for the March intl break, which means we can sadly say that the "minor knock" he got last season has ended up sidelining him for a full year.

I don't know if the original diagnosis was wrong and/or handled badly, but there are also rumours that he's suffered something similar to Ledley and his career is basically over.

Huge shame and of course the club won't make any attempt to replace him in the summer.

Something's very, very wrong.

No one seems to be able to put their finger on it.

The argument that we're overplaying players is nonsense imo. Plenty of other teams do it and don't lose multiple players for months on end. Back in Poch's day the core of the squad would play 40-50 games each every season and they'd manage.

We went out of both domestic cups early so that isn't an excuse either.

We don't press with any intensity. The number of sprints has almost halved since last season. I spend most games counting players pulling out of 50/50 tackles, we aren't a physical side. So none of that explains it either.

It is baffling.

Poch certainly had injury issues: Kane, Dembele, Lamela and Rose all had significant stints on the sidelines throughout his time

Honestly think the refereeing meta of managing games and/or letting the game flow is playing into our injuries, given our ratio of being fouled to opponents getting booked is the worst in the league
