I hoped Pritchard's impact substitute performance in midweek, might have tempted Peter Taylor to give him a start this evening in the must win game against Egypt. Not to be, he is on the bench. Harry Kane does start.
Kane has had an absolute mare in front of goal today. He's played every minute of the tournament and I think it's told on him.
You wouldn't pick any of our defenders for a pub team. Not sure how we lost that the way we played mind. All over them for most of the game. Ross Barkley has by far been the most disappointing, greedy show pony. Quite impressed with Coady though and Kane was probably our stand out performer up until the last game. Reckon that Cole's got potential but he needs some serious tactical tuning.
