Ah thanks I've still not seen him play. Not much going on in this game, I guess it's a little harder for us with having a few players picked instead for the under 21s.
1-0 at ht, Coady. Kane had a decent strike which got the corner we scored from. Not been great so far but I'm not sure that's down to the front lot, the more defensive players just seem to be wasting the ball. Still, hopefully we'll see Pritchard in the second half.
I don't think anyone would begrudge England their half-time lead. Not a lot of excitement in the first half, but nonetheless, this was a competent 45 minutes from England.
Signed him for Spurs on fm2013 and he became the new Lampard so that means he must be good in real life
Great saves from our 'keeper and we go straight down the other end and score. Good counter, set up by Kane finished by Luke Williams.
http://www1.skysports.com/news/12040/8789962/ The 'tiredness' excuse...."we've just done a load of double sessions to get used to conditions"....jesus h christ!!
Watched the second half of the Portugal-South Korea under 20s game for some reason. Hoping to discover the next Lee, I guess. Their number 7, Ryu, scored a belter in the first half. I'm sure PNP will have a link to it soon enough. I think I might've found the new Lee though and his name is Lee! Their number 8(Lee) looked pretty decent, along with Han but upon looking them up it appears they, and pretty much the whole Korea squad, are university players so maybe I was just easily impressed. Really should've expected it that, a number of their players were really crap.
Harry Kane is again a starter for England. They are currently losing 1-0 at half time to Chile. The goal came from a penalty.
Just tuned in. I'd sub whoever that mouthy Scouse number 14 was, swearing at the lino after conceding a freeking for shoving a player over. Players get away with far too much these days.
1-1 Kane \o/ Nice finish from outside of the area. Good first touch and then thumped it low at the 'keepers near post.
Alex Pritchard gets the last 30 minutes and goes off with a bloody nose !!! Comes back straight away and is seeing plenty of the ball. Just had a great header well saved although it was straight at him. Probably should have scored.
Given his height I wasn't sure whether he got struck in the face with an elbow or a knee. Took him a little while to get going when he first came on but he's doing much better now. As for that header, it's a simple finish for anyone above 5 foot but bless him he had to jump as high as he could just to reach that
Finished 1-1. Pritchard had another chance to get a winner after Kane slid an excellent cross in across the face of goal but Pritchard was sliding in and had a tough angle to try and score from. Impressed with what I saw of Kane, it's interesting to see him play as a lone striker and, apart from his first touch when trying to hold up the ball, he looked comfortable in the role. Although I didn't see the firs 50 minutes if it was anything like the first game, I think Kane benefited from Pritchard coming on and playing closer to him. Hopefully Pritchard and Kane will start up top for our final match which is a must win, I think.
