Those dancers are bloody dreadful. The director must have been shagging at least one of them for them to have got that amount of screen time.
1981? Some pissed up Geordies inspiring mad Norwegians to burn down churches and murder each other! Alternatively, one of the best live albums that probably has better sound quality than the studio album above, funnily enough: Still think the last President pre-Trump missed out by not using this.
30 years ago, and housework was changed forever ... and the mix I prefer (more of a "stomper" - the "Energy Flash" drum track etc, and it predicts the emergence of a certain Spurs striker ) ...
Considering Neil Young is 75, 150 million should see him out in style and that only buys 50% of the rights
Not heard this in years , somewhere in a box in the loft I have the promo cassette tape , they handed them out after a gig I went to at Dingwalls RIP bass player Steve Jameson
Just imagine its breakfast time in the mid seventies, in our house that meant that we would be listening to Terry Wogan on radio 2, (mums choice), and these songs were a staple, now I cant say that I actually 'like' them, but they have a certain place in my consciousness that has left an indelible mark.
I'm off for a brisk stroll... I'm reminded that I ought to apply some Vaseline to prevent joggers nipple. As more people are taking exercise, could this be broadcast as a public information film?
Just seen on SM that Jesus Jellett has died , otherwise known as the naked hippy dancer , he was seen at gigs all over the place in the 60s 70s and 80s I remember him at Reading one year when the Faces headlined the Saturday, he carried on dancing while it rained beer cans on him . Hope there is a gig up there for you to strip off to and dance the nights away
Just reading a book on commercial vehicles, interesting chapter on Scammell wheel nuts , also reminded my local chapel needs some new hat pegs
