I'm not much of one for festivals. I love live music and camping but combined, I'm less happy about the package. The view is ****, the sound can be iffy, you see less of most of the acts and the toilet facilities are ****ing appalling. Rebellion in Blackpool is my thing. Bed down in a B&B (with cooked breakfast) and 7 out of 8 stages are indoors and there are pubs to drink in and restaurants...plus you can actually see the acts. Four days of punk and a proper bed and toilet...bliss!
We went to see the Rezillos at a pub in North London and some dirty scroat started flobbing , it hit my mates girlfriend and unfortunately for him my mate is a very handy follower of some jappy slappy art , the scroat was thrown through a fire exit and then kicked around the carpark, don't think he would do that at a gig again , filthy habit
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBBIE HARRY 75 TODAY Who didn't have a trouser moment the 1st time you saw her on TOTP in the stripy dress ?
As is obvious to anyone who posts here - I have 2 obsessions in my life - football and more specifically THFC and music, and particularly the music of Paul Weller. Last night my football team let me down big style - Today the world is a better place again as there is new music in the world from Mr Weller, and in this case there is no let down On Sunset is an excellent soulful album that finds him on top form - Its on repeat in my house today and will be for a few days
The bass line on this track by Anthony Jackson is the greatest ever and i will fight anyone behind the bike sheds who says otherwise The album Ship Ahoy must be one of the lost great albums as well
