24 hours on a few songs that have sprung to mind today (not all are exactly my style ) Some for them some for us I'll guess which are which
Johnny Moped and the boys from Los Conos with their new single. Good sing along stuff with a video from Capt. Sensible and son, Fred Burns. Mr Moped is looking very trim these days. He turned up in The Cherry Trees a few years back looking like he was living in a skip.
For my mate, Andy who rang me today to tell me he has bowel cancer... (1:15 for Glory, Glory Halleleujah!) "Yid Andy, Yid Andy, Yid Andy, Yid Andy"
Upcoming London gigs... Thu 16 May - Theatre of Hate Sat 18 May - UK Subs Wed 29 May - Pete Perrett (ex-Only Ones) Sat 1 June - Wire Thu 20 June - Nick Lowe Thu 20 June - The Members (How bloody inconvenient. The day before my birthday and 2 different gigs I'd go to....Nick Lowe wins on away goals after a VAR review.) I'd say the pick of the lot is Wire. If you haven't seen them, I urge you to do so.
Cheers! On the Punk Gigs in London it's still showing as the 1st. I used to go and see them and The Only Ones every year with a group of friends that I pretty much only saw at those bands. It will be good to catch up.
My mates recon I'm not normal I recorded sex pistols never mind the bollox album on sky and cranked it up in volume at 6 o'clock this morning po go round the kitchen whilst making my cup of tea ...now I know I'm getting old
Alright, which one of you requested a Swedish metal band singing a power ballad about the pride of the Nazi fleet?
