Hm. This really isn't difficult to understand, PIXIE. Let me break it down for you. A while back, there was a thread where I made some simple and honest mistake. You - as is usual - ****ed yourself silly over it for two pages (I really couldn't have cared less about it, but it was getting you excited, so I played along), untl I worked out my error. I went back and edited it, and then had a whole load more fun, as you went ****ing ballistic over the fact that I had edited my honest mistake! It became clear to me, after that hugely embarrassing carry-on by you, that I could get you wound up very easily by making obvious errors on purpose and then going back to edit them (after I had reeled you in, of course). I've used that technique a few times, now, and you fall for it every time! It's ****ing hilarious! Anyway, mate, watch the football. Spurs are giving the mighty Monaco a footballing lesson!

Cos not winning the CL is better than winning the EL obviously! A bit like coming 4th is better than winning a cup and coming 6th Football has gone a bit weird for an old git like me
That's not what he's saying though. I don't think anybody would turn down a trophy, but dropping into the EL would mean another 6 ties over how many legs ? And there's still no guarantee of winning it. We might well get beaten by Barca and go out of European football altogether, but I'd rather we were competing in the top competitions.
