Interesting to note that the last 4 in the FA includes only 1 team in the top 4 of PL. Are others taking it seriously any more ??? I think the PL is so piss poor this year that several Clubs have prioritised what they want to go for, because they don't have strong enough squads this year to compete for everything. Somehow, we have finished up at the business end of the FA and CL, but blown the PL. Man U, City, Arsenal have blown the CL and FA. Spurs have somehow ,also finished up in the FA and above us in PL. Pretty poor from all when compared to previous years.
League position doesn't matter as much. Spurs are there yet the 3 other clubs in the competition are all bigger than them. I think all clubs have been helped the fact City, United and Pool all had to play each other in the League and FA Cup and knocked each other out. In a normal scenario the likes of Spurs would not get near an FA semi with United or City in it so it's a big opportunity for them
Thank god for him that Bale is fast otherwise he'd be in the championship. One trick, one leg, over rated and once again failed to do anything in a big game. Take away that Inter game and what exactly has he done to get a 40-50 million price tag?
He should seriously think about a career change. With the olympics coming up he could have a go at the 200 yard sprint. or help out Tom Daley with his diving maybe. Gotta play to his strengths.
