Just read on the OS that there were apparently 30,000 different people trying to access the ticket site simultaneously yesterday, hence the excessive delays I'm not a season ticket holder or a member as I am rarely able to attend games. Does anyone know if the tickets will go on general sale at any point or is that wishful thinking?
Looking at it now, there doesn't appear to be many seats left... When i got on last night it appeared that every block was as near as damn it sold out but the Spurs website says we've sold 41,000 (way less than whats being made available to buy now). Holding tickets back perhaps for general sale?
Today's the day for play-off draw. Need tough, losable games for City and Porto (and they both lose) if we are to get into pot 2.
The announcement seems to indicate that they have kept back a lot of seats to sell on a match by match basis. I thinks that is fair as not everyone is available or can afford to go to every match
Count yourself lucky. We were talking about the wait in the Bill Nicholson Arms and some of us waited 14/15 hours
