Wow, 70 quid for 3 games.
The demand must be there otherwise Levy and the FA would not take the risk.

Better book my seats on the halfway line not too high-up ASAP.

AFAIK, the 6 group stage weeks are already known.
Use the 2010 group stage fixture as a rough guide as to what weeks the home games might be.

I was trying to work out whether you can tell which match day we will be at home from our seeding which is most likely to be pot 3. But its not really clear in the regulations. It specifies an order for the games for team 1, 2, 3 and 4 but doesn't actually say that they correspond to the seeds. Even then you can't tell if it is Tuesday or Wednesday. But currently all 12 evenings are free in my calendar so I'll definitely buy a ticket.

    13–14/09/16: Group stage, matchday one
    27–28/09/16: Group stage, matchday two
    18–19/10/16: Group stage, matchday three
    01–02/11/16: Group stage, matchday four
    22–23/11/16: Group stage, matchday five
    06–07/12/16: Group stage, matchday six

    Matchday 1: 2 v 3 4 v 1
    Matchday 2: 1 v 2 3 v 4
    Matchday 3: 3 v 1 2 v 4
    Matchday 4: 1 v 3 4 v 2
    Matchday 5: 3 v 2 1 v 4
    Matchday 6: 2 v 1 4 v 3

So we might be at home on matchdays 2, 3 and 5 and the weakest team will be the first match?

Bremen had a higher UEFA ranking than Spurs in 2010, and we played them away in the first game.
It seems that games 3 and 4 will probably be against pot 1 opposition.
So I reckon the 2010 fixture list will be a good guide.

It looks like the Inter matches may have been swapped around in 2010 though - this can happen to stop teams in the same city being at home on the same day. That shouldn't be an issue for us because Arsenal will be seeded so will have matches 3 and 4 the other way around. However if we get one of the Madrid sides it could still be a possibility.

October 18-19 – Group stage match day 3
    NOVEMBER 2016
November 1-2 – Group stage match day 4
November 22-23 – Group stage match day 5
    DECEMBER 2016
December 6-7 – Group stage match day 6

    This is true.
I think games 3/4 will be the pot 1 opponent, with UEFA deciding which of us / the Goons
    get game 3 at home.

I don't think Arsenal will be seeded this year. I think that the seeds are the Holders and the winners of the top7 leagues

That's the top seeds (Pot 1). After that Pot 2 is the 8 highest ranked of the remaining teams. By my calculations we are tenth but two teams above us could lose in the final qualifying round. We will most likely be in Pot 3.

Group tickets go on sale for members tomorrow at 10am. Any season ticket holders on here that can give us an idea on what the uptake has been so far? Heard that the whole of the west side has been sold out...

Create your own Doomsday scenario here: https://inker.github.io/cl-draw/?mode=gs

I got us grouped with Sevilla, Monchengladbach and CSKA Moscow - although it could be worse, given Celtic got paired with Los Ladrones, Leverkusen and Sporting...

I got Benfica, Leverkusen and Brugge. I'd take that.
Arsenal got Barca, Kiev and Monchengladbach.

Our best outcome is still that City and Porto lose in the 4th qualifying round which would raise us to Pot 2. If one of them lose that will raise Basel to pot 2 which would be a good draw I think.
If as is more likely we stay in pot 3 then I think the worst outcome is something like Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Roma and the best CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen and Dundalk (or more likely Legia Warsaw).

    I'd take that.
    * No particularly long, arduous trips.
    * Got an A-rated game
    * Still got a chance of progressing

No wonder I was in the queue for 8 hours! Hoping the opposition is going to be worth it.
