The billionaire boys could only finish 2 goals in front of a team who had 5 top players out actually more as Bale on his own is worth about 3 of Chelsea's overpaid players, with a full spurs team we would be looking at a diffrent score line.

Your aware Spurs have a billionaire owner as well aren't you?

We beat you fairly easily without getting out of 3rd gear. When we peak you could be looking at a thrashing if you play as openly as that at the Bridge

Save the bitterness for another day though

We were simply beaten by the better side in what was a great game of football. Kudos.

I think a fair few of us had this match down as a draw at absolute best.

Chelsea are too potent up front and stable enough at the back.

Although I would say Bale withdrawing 30 mins before kick off didn't exactly help. His replacement in Thudd is average at best - he's not playing enough these days and apparently looked like he was carrying a bit too much weight yesterday.

lol - to be honest, I got mildly excited when we went 2-1 up yesterday. But I've seen it too many times where you think you'll get the carrot - but instead get the stick : / - this comes with the territory when supporting Spurs.

    Going with your flow....

Can you please quantify how Bale (who is a v.good player) is worth 3 times any 3 of our first team players? He is a good player for sure but he is not top top drawer is he.

Only 2 goals? Matey, 2 goals is a huge margin at the very top level it is very definitely not an "only". As you ought to well know there are only ever 2 or 3 real chances per team per game at the highest level and to take 2 more than you is quite a gap.

And don't be so sad harping on about "billionaire boys" - it's a money game. In case you hadn't realised it that is what separates you from being in the Prem' and the teams in the Conference League. Got it?

I haven't touched one of your posts, I have simply called you a bellend which is proven to be right because it clearly says who editted your posts at the bottom of them <doh>. If you can't take a bit of tongue in cheek banter, this forum isn't for you...

You don't strike me as a particularly pleasant guy nor one with a sense of humour.

Thanks for being a reasonable and gracious winner. Chelsea deserved to win, controlling the first half almost completely. I thought Spurs did reasonably well, all things considered. Missing both our best players, (or maybe 2/3) we outshot Chelsea, and could easily have gotten a draw or win if we didn't suddenly forget how to defend after scoring a critical goal. I continue to think Chelsea look like the best team in the league. We're in good shape as long as Dembele comes right back. Without him, we're in trouble.
