Unlucky Albanians. Maybe they had been fasting earlier today, they seemed to run out of legs.

There was no real obligation on them to fast given the circumstances so fair play if they did.

Anyway zoot time and some Not606ing and 'the aliens' TVs series on...perfect with a :emoticon-0176-smoke

Presumably a fair few of that French side are Muslims? They certainly didn't run out of legs anyway,.

How's it going Spurlock?

I'm just about to pop out for a Steak lunch with work. I'll pop back later to let you know how it was.

I'll go medium rare, and probably choose sweet potato chips.

Peppercorn sauce?? Decisions, decisions.

Hope you're well my friend :D

fasting is no problem, but not being allowed to drink either, respect if you've gone that far with it. Done a couple of weekly juice diets before I found 5/2 diet, they got hard around day 4 but you can nulify that hunger by drinking water, you piss a lot mind.

I've been fairly into juicing for a while - not for dieting purposes but just for pure goodness. I try and get 5 juices in a week.

I also did the 5/2 diet a while back, mainly because I was interested in the guy's book and some of the potential health implications for doing it. I found it fairly easy tbh, although I wouldn't have wanted to maintain it for too long.

With regards to dieting. The only (and best) sustainable diet is be careful what you eat and exercise regularly. It winds me up when people whinge about dieting (usually fat women) but then to find out they do zero exercise!!

Yes. Ok, I know I have the time to do it, but I'm in the gym 4-5 days a week. I never have to diet, I can eat and drink pretty much what I want as a result.

Having said that, I do eat a mostly 'Mediterranean' diet, anyway...

Exactly. These fat women don't even walk to their local shop FFS!

Yet they moan about being fat <steam>

It's my metabolism...

That's the stock excuse from the lard bucket.

No love, it's your hands continually shovelling ****e into your grid that's the issue.

I lost a fair bit of weight a while back and then maintaining that weight is quite easy, you just have to find the right balance of intake were you don't lose or gain, it takes a week or 2 to adjust the habits accordingly, but it's not a complicated conundrum

Yes I've heard that excuse. It's pure laziness, it's that simple.

You've just described how easily it can be done if motivated. It's putting such a 'strain' on our NHS. Some of these ****ers need a crane to get to the hospital FFS.

I don't know how that happens ffs.

I mean at what point do you just say "ah **** it, I'm ****ing massive, so I might as well eat some more and make myself totally immobile"

They have to have facilitators to enable this though. As they can't even answer the door to the pizza delivery boy.

My old man was in hospital last year and there was a lad in the bed opposite who was at least 30 stone. Had one of those guts that overhangs that far it rests on the thigh. He was only in his early 30's and he'd been told his veins were collapsing and he could die shortly if he didn't dramatically change his way of life. My old man said he was crying his eyes out in the afternoon, but come 10 pm his auld fella turned up with a family bucket of KFC for him <laugh>

I got the 5/2 sussed, eat what I want on my 5 days, then stack up on my 5 a days on the fasting days, you can eat a **** tonne of veggies and greens for 600c, cheap as **** too, saves lots of money. Who can't crash diet for one day?
