Yes, it seems you have a point. There are a handful of extreme Buddust monks stirring up hatred against Muslims, but it does appear to be a minority. It is unusual. Buddhism normally abhors violence.
Not being funny but there are millions that have been made homeless and killed, i doubt those people care whether its minority or not. Every race, religion, democracy and so forth have the extreme side where people take it too far...
Everything is up for review, whether be islam, christianity or judaism. The only thing i say is that it should be done with respect to people and their belief. As a muslim, we believe that judaism was part and parcel of Islam. There is very few things that would be disregarded by muslims from judaism.
Millions might be exaggerating it. But, It does appear to be still flaring up. It also looks like the Gvt are not doing enough to stop the violence.
I doubt they are making bit too much of it..they have been exterminated or chucked out of the country. There are some countries speaking out about it but the others are ignoring the issue, espcially the western countries in the hope of getting democracy and being friendly with Burma, double standards at its best.. These are the type of things that create them and us feeling amongst the most vulnerable people.
Spurlock can you try and radicalize me in one sentence please? My life is going down the pan so I need some god in my life. Or highbruyal please? Maybe radicalize isn't the word I'm looking for
Judaism and Islam and Christianity have more in common than what divides them. Their mutual intolerance is insane. Christianity and Islam are just Judaism where the prophet has come. Jews still waiting. Even Halal/Kosher rules are very similar. The enmity is ludicrous. They should unite against us infidels who think the whole thing is made up to keep the proles in their place.
You need a purpose in life not radicalisation! Mans purpose in life is peaceful submisson to his lord (Allah). This is what you/we all need in this life for the hereafter.
Anyway @Spurlock and @highburyal now that ramadhan is finishing, will we see an end to the beautifully warm friendship you two have developed
I would like to take this opportunity to say that over the last month I have joked and taken piss out of a spud and maybe others, if that has caused an offence to anyone then I sincerely apologise as it was all done in jest. Lifes too short...may never see tomorrow let alone next Ramadan. This has been a pleasure guys and hope in amongst the jokes, you guys learnt something good and positive about islam and muslims.
Mate, I know you have your beliefs, and I respect that, I really do. You and Spurlock sound perfectly reasonable, normal guys who understand that not everybody believes what you do. That's cool, we all have different views on things. Spurlock and I think Arsenal are crap, for instance. For me, I just sometimes get very tired of all the violence that people who 'know what God wants' perpetrate on others who happen to not share their views. That's not a pop at any particular religion. Just an observation.,
