    It moves forward 10days every year as Islamic year is 10days shorter.

    Year before last would have been longest fasting times in uk but this year is still brutal. Hardly any change here as we are close to equator.

    Don’t know what they do in Iceland when Ramadan falls in Summer - a quick whale kebab and then back to fasting again.

    probably have to migrate from iceland or any of the scandinavian countries else 1 hour to eat food and drink water is probably going to break you <laugh>

    What a day yesterday was

    Had gone for iftari at a friend's as I mentioned on Tuesday night. We all went mosque afterwards to pray Isha and taravih. Git chatting after and we're there till 2am Wednesday. Dropped a guy off home and made it to my gaff at 2:35am.

    Mrs came to door and says your sis phoned and your uncle (dad's older bro) has died. Lives in Lancashire.

    So a quick bite to eat to start fast, pray fajr and over to dad's. In Lancashire before 6am. Thinking will come back home and return for funeral in a day or so. Wrong. Funeral was same day. Didn't get home untill after 6pm wednesday.

    No food or water and no sleep.
