We’ve only conceded 1 penalty goal in the last four games with Burn at LB and we scored 4 at Fulham 5 home to Brentford whilst picking up 10 points out of 12

You don't need 11 good players on the pitch to get good results.

Just because Burn was in a winning side doesn't mean he was a prime contributor.

I'm not saying Burn is a bad player, what I'm saying is his best position is CB, he's only a back up choice for LB. He doesn't offer anything going forward, and he gets caught out by pacey wingers.

Just because he hasn't cost us yet doesn't mean he wont.

He got caught out many times vs Manchester United by Antony, and was technically responsible for the pen vs Brentford.

I don't believe in this "if it aint broke don't fix it" bullshit. We need to be ambitious.

Like I said, Burn is good, but we should aim higher, not just settle for "good enough".

Burn was in a winning side three times in four games and drew at Manure conceding nil in free play. Manure almost scored at the end with an aerial cross to the position he would have been in.
When you look at the play with Tripps getting forward we go to a three at the back so he becomes a left CB in a three.
I’m not saying he’s necessarily the long term answer there but you can’t deny he’s done the job and the team has worked.
Part of Eddie’s ability to make what he has work.
We need to stop this picking out of scapegoats. As long as the players we have now are still here and giving 100% we should get behind all of them. Even if we get to a Man Citeh stage it seems our fan base always has an element that will pick out someone who they see as not as good as the rest so not good enough. You will never get 100% of the top players in every position.

I never said anything about scapegoats, you just don't understand the point I'm making. Re-read what I said.
