we don;t get those decisions with Marriner in fact we don't get those decisions with any of the refs had it been the other way then ...............
He gave a free kick but if you watch sons face yiu van tell he did itvon purpose he was twisting all throughout the game. a big decision went against us it was handball, but dubravka was anticipating the shot son intended to strike not the fluff down the middle
I would say he has cost us a few points recently like. ****ing floppy duckchinned dingoface needs to pull himself together and stop letting shots straight through him.
Unfortunate today I thought. Watched the first half and think we were good value for 0-0 at the break - Hayden and Longstaff did fantastically again in the middle ad Lejuene is making a huge difference. Few half chances went begging which we need to take as we don't get many. Second half I only caught the last 15m but the goal was awful - not the first mistake Dubravka has made since the turn of the year but more often than not he keeps us in games so I'll forgive him. Only complaint is after going 1-0 down we switch out left back... Subs again (or lack of)! FFS Rafa - 1-0 down with 10 to go lets try and be positive man. Fair enough get the new lad on but could we not have taken Schar off and got another midfielder on or even better gone 4-4-2, push Ritchie up and move Perez up top with Rondon to give him someone to knock balls down to? We aren't going to conceded 3 or 4 goals in those last 10 mins, maybe another to make it 2-0 but atleast try and salvage a point. Again only 2 subs used - can't think of another team who regularly do NOT use all three subs, they are there for a reason so ****ing use them. Bar that if you'd offered us 3 points and 0+/- goal difference over the last 2 games we'd have snatched your hand off so on to the next one...
to think we feel disappointed that we have been beaten by Spurs 1-0 in the last 10mins shows if only we could get the strength in depth to match the other teams Tactically Rafa is spot on with what we have

Too defensive today, team got drawn ten yards too far back.. Spurs aren’t quite City/Liverpool so I do feel we should have done a bit better with the ball. Still loss is to be expected. Thought Atsu was ****ing dreadful. Barely touched it and everything he did gave the ball away. Everyone else tried, but when we got the odd chance we did our usual indecisive bollocks. Perez should have done much better on two occasions, but it was a justifiable defeat so on to the next plus results so far have gone our way. Probably only going to take 36/37 to stay up so 4 wins with Cardiff, Fulham, Burnley all coming to SJP seems doable.
What a shame. I really thought we were good value for a point. That's football, one horrible goalkeeping error and it's another defeat.
Nah tactics were spot on we created chances couldve won tbf mate just a handball and a keeper error cost us.
Kenedy shouldn't be here, no idea wtf Rafa is thinking sometimes. Logically if it's Almiron in for Atsu, then Kenedy is dropped altogether with Atsu on the bench. I'd like us to go 5-3-2. Push Perez/Muto further up, drop Almiron as AM ahead of any two from Longstaff, Shelvey, Ki or Diame. Back five picks itself.
Kenedy has lost confidence it doesnt mean he can't help us if it returns.. rafa unlike our fickle fans doesn't give up on people he believes in..
