Not complete bullshit. 1 win all season is a bit embarrassing dont you think? 4 points from last 10 games. Fans will naturally be pissed off and i think with the state our team is in, Ralph will need a bit of luck in his first few games!
Charlie's 3rd shot on target this season I guess? They are good, we have no manager, that game didn't matter, never mind.
Sounded a bit Icelandic. No tune. If it was, indeed, our fans. If it was what I think it was, it'll be fun to chant. As for the game, we hit the wood work, what, three times? And missed three attempts where it would have been easier to get them in than to miss them. If it wasn't for bad luck, etc. And I had money on Maya (who I thought had a poor game, heaven forbid!) to score, so how the hell did he miss that one? I thought Redmond played a blinder in the second half (and a chunk of the first). I don't think Tottenham underestimated him, either, as they never sent one player out to deal with him and sometimes it was three. He was quiety scaring the willies out of them. I foresee our being safe this year with the correct guidance - having a manager who apparently who understands defending will make a big difference. Vin
In his first few games? Doesn’t matter if he gets luck or not, it seems like we have a good new and exciting coach. It might take him 6-10 games, but if he delivers what we believe he can, we’ll be fine. It’s a bit odd to be moaning in this day with a temporary coach in charge of a game to one of the better teams. Tom was right* * for a change
That’s is the sort of game we could have lost under Koeman/Poch when we were at our brilliant best Absolutely no point moaning about a game like tonight, especially when we played so well for most of it.
At least we don’t appear to have any injuries, no bookings and not many players broke into a sweat so shouldn’t be any fatigue for Saturdays game
Nothing has changed from this morning when we heard about Ralph officially and everyone was happier....it was always unlikely that we would get anything from this game. Not a lot will change overnight.
Phil Thompson just said that there was quite a lot of positives for our new manager....praised Redmond and JWP. Also said goals were preventable (nothing new there) but we also created lots of good chances. Very low gate....must have been rattling in a stadium like Wembley.
I thought JWP was going to be a bit rusty, but apart from a couple of misplaced passes at the start he had a great game. He ran further than any of our other players and still looked fresh at the end, and his set-pieces caused lots of problems for Spurs.
When he starts he usually runs more then anyone else. He’s a hard worker and with an unfair spell on the sidelines, he’ll be well up for impressing the new man in charge. Think he’ll thrive under Ralph which will be nice to see.
with better defending, and better finishing the result would have been different. Ralph has his work cut out but the last 20 minutes gave him something to smile about
I don't think I'd be exaggerating to say that I could go back and cut and paste this comment after every games for the last 12 months, delete everything else and there'd be little else missing.
Yes - in his first few games it will be tough to have any meaningful impact on how we play - so he will need luck to get results. Also, there is a difference between stating the fact our season has been embarrassing and moaning. Surely you'd agree with my statement - we have been awful and that hasnt changed just because we have a new coach. However i hope, and genuinely believe, he is the change we need and will turn our season around. I was right* *because im stubborn and will never admit otherwise
