I never said go backwards though.

I said stop the game. he can stop it any time he feels like. He is like the captain of HMS bounty, the master after god of all those aboard.

He could have stopped and admitted the error on the basis of his var idiot telling him the mistake he made. all the arties concerned could then have shrugged and said for **** sake and moved on.

I don't really think "going back" is even the right thing to do as the rules are crystal. once the game was kicked off oops. that doesn't absolve him of just ignoring it and whistling then giving a faux apology months later.

Never said you did, nor was that the key point

its all well and good having a love in for der klopper but at some point you have to set put of the red tinted glasses and think about what the eyes of even the neutral would think.

he's been very foolish talking this way and not taking a breath before letting this go.

there's no way on earth a replay is coming here. the end so he's just made himself look entitled.

he should.know what the press are like and save himself the hassle by simply focusing on improve the process.

maybe even throw pgmol a bone and they might not have knives out for you and us for the rest of your lfc career.

Klopps the manager of Liverpool. I expect him to have the reddest tinted glasses their possible are available.

That horse bolted long ago.

Have you recently bought shares in TikTok or something? :)

Obviously the difference here is that this is a factual error, not just a subjective one that we all think is crap.

Watch tic-toc write a lot, obviously <laugh>. Better than reading some of the views that pop up on here :1980_boogie_down:

Interesting that they've said England won't officiate another Liverpool game this season though, don't think it's happened before, not sure one poor game (or decision in their eyes) anyway

You obviously didn't see the interview because none of what you say makes sense.

1. No sane, fair minded neutral could watch that interview and see it as anything other than what he thought was the right course going forward is for everyone not just LiverpoolFC. Fans who haven't got their own blue/white/red/green ... tinted glasses on are all speaking out and applauding Klopp for taking this on - Goldbridge as one example.
2. He absolutely is not being foolish. He is asked questions and gives answers stating it's his opinion and not any official line.
3. He knows a replay is unlikely and is quite within his rights as "a football person, not as Liverpool manager" (his words) to give his honest opinion as to what would be a fair outcome in this situation, whoever was involved.
4. His main focus was on how to improve the process.
5. The very first thing he said was "this was not done on purpose and nobody should be going after individuals. I don't want anyone losing their job or anything like that. We want the process to be transparent going forward". He was very, very conciliatory.

It was one of his best interviews. I don't care what rival fans think about us in general and about this in particular, I'm even less bothered if that's even possible. This is a watershed moment in terms of VAR and officiating in general and a good to great outcome will benefit everyone. I don't know why some are resistant to that idea. I expect rival fans to misinterpret and twist words to put us in as bad a light as possible, I don't expect from our own.

Remember the fans stacked high against us, desperate to null and void an entire season during the pandemic? They're the same ones crying and whinging about the highly unlikely prospect of one game being replayed. See a theme here?

It has. Moyes said he didn't want Clattenburg officiating Everton after one of our derbies and he didn't get a game back there for 18 months.

Was he ok about having two men taken off at certain times in the replay and did he nominate a persoto put the ball in his own net in extra time?
