**** knows don't know why but i had it in my head he had been sent off for the handball against Arse .Mind you the way he plays i'm surprised he hadn't already picked up a yellow.
Although it's great to keep a clean sheet, I often think going a goal down is what we need to galvanise us into action. Apart from the Newkie game I've always been confident we can get back into it, and having equalised, that we will then go on to win. This game ought to be a tough one, given the form of both teams - but we have to go into it expecting to win, and not be tentative at the beginning.
Liverpool beating Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday would be 'massive', says Paul Merson Paul Merson also believes Arsenal may need to move for Brentford's Ivan Toney in January as he is unconvinced by Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah; watch Tottenham vs Liverpool on Saturday, live on Sky Sports from 5pm; kick-off 5.30pm Liverpool beating Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday would be 'massive', says Paul Merson | Football News | Sky Sports
He's a moron. Beating City would be massive. beating a team that's barely played anyone yet is no biggie
Gary Neville has predicted that the fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will end in a draw when the Merseyside outfit visit North London this Saturday. Before the start of the season, there was a lot of pessimism around Tottenham with a new manager and the departure of record goalscorer Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. However, the extent to which Ange Postecoglou has managed to turn things around at the North London club is mightily impressive, with Spurs sitting fourth in the Premier League table after six matches. Gary Neville makes score prediction for Tottenham vs Liverpool this weekend - Spurs Web - Tottenham Hotspur Football News (spurs-web.com)
CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR AWAY WIN 2:3 Tottenham v Liverpool (17:30) You've probably noticed I've always been a fan of Ange Postecoglou, but he has been absolutely phenomenal since he arrived at Spurs. I love the way he sticks to his guns with the way his teams play. It was the same against Arsenal last weekend, and they will go for it in this game too. I could make a case for either team to win it, but I just have a feeling Liverpool will snatch it. What I know for certain is that there will be plenty of goals. Tottenham will definitely cause Liverpool some problems and it's great to see Son Heung-min back on top form, but the same will apply when Jurgen Klopp's side attack, and Reds striker Darwin Nunez looks really dangerous at the moment. We've already seen Liverpool win at Newcastle with 10 men this season and their forward line is capable of scoring against anyone, even when they are not playing well, and they have got some goals in midfield from Dominik Szoboszlai too. I remember Mark Chapman claiming on the Monday Night Club a few weeks ago that Szoboszlai's size-seven feet mean he hits the ball with a different trajectory. If that's the case then it's working, as we saw from his terrific goal against Leicester in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. Sutton's prediction: 2-3 Jazzie's prediction: You can probably guess what I think about Tottenham! This will be a close game though. 0-1 JONES KNOWS BEST (SKY SPORTS HAS GONE FOR 2:2 DRAW Tottenham vs Liverpool, Saturday 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports - PLAY SUPER 6 HERE! Image:Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool, live on Sky Sports If you had to choose a team to pay good money to watch, Tottenham would be top of my list at the minute. This should be a fantastic and potentially barmy game involving two red-hot attacks. You can get 22/1 on a 0-0 which must be up there with the biggest ever price for that scoreline in a meeting between two 'big six' teams. The goal expectancy is almost at four goals. It's 4/5 for over 3.5 goals. Scarily high. Don't back that. Back Heung-Min Son. Merson Says: Liverpool beating Spurs would be massive You can rest assured Son will be testing the Liverpool offside trap on regular occasions, especially now from his new central striking role that has seen him score five goals across his last three starts. Son has recorded a whopping 5.81 worth of expected goals in his 11 Premier League starts vs Liverpool, scoring five times. The problem we have here is his price, 6/4 with Sky Bet is very meh. There is a way to juice it up though by adding him to be caught offside at least once in the match which, courtesy of the Bet Builder feature, rockets the price to 7/2. He has been caught offside 11 times in those 11 starts against Jurgen Klopp's side. SCORE PREDICTION: 2-2
