The rule gives the PL discretion to allow a club to temporarily use another stadium. So I think we can use Wembley for as long as we like. What we can't do is to use two stadia in turns.
If they'd have used more northerners on the job, every sod would have been in the pub by Friday lunchtime
I knew this would end in disaster, fans getting upset already, I predict West Ham style pitch invasions, at a venue as of yet undecided
The rule is that you can only have one home at a time, not split them between two sites. You can't play big games at stadium A and small games at stadium B for example - which was our initial proposal when MK Dons ground was speculated on. We will have Wembley as our home until THS is ready and then that will be our home. No rules broken. You summed up. You don't know the rules but lets penalise Spurs anyway. So predictable.
Helps to explain the lack of transfers. I've said many times changing stadium has come at the worse possible time for Spurs. The period where they genuinely have a very good side is being put second in importance to a new stadium. Madness.
**** that ****. West Ham style anything has to be a bad idea. Different situations, but both weren't helped by exceptionally poor communication to the point of dishonesty. They've ended up in a rented athletics bowl that's unsuitable for football, though. I'm hoping that once our place is finally finished that all of this **** will be somewhat worthwhile. The plans for our ground look impressive, as does what's been done so far. I hope the end product matches up.
Yeah it will be alright once it's sorted, I do think fans might have to prepare themselves to not be challenging again for a few years though. Worst possible timing in that sense.
To be fair you built the stadium pretty quickly. The Bridge was going to take 4 years minimum away from home with three years prep before it got shelved
We had more space to work with and built a lot of it while still using White Hart Lane at reduced capacity. You've basically got nowhere to go at Stamford Bridge, so you've got to knock everything down and go from there. It's either that or move to a new location and that'll be hard to find anywhere close to where you are now.
I hope we stay where we are. If Bates hadn't wanted his motel, we could already have a 48k stadium with 12k single tier Shed End. The council would have been happy with 6k extra egress back in 2000. TV and commercial revenue are kings now. That said, your 17k kop looks amazing
