Stadium has hit delays with both Liverpool and Cardiff being switched to Wembley. Not going quite as planned so far is it?
If they play more than 2 home games at Wembley then they have to play there all season. Dems da rules bruv.
I was hoping to get up there this season but at this rate it won't be ready for our visit in December ffs. It was always going to be tight doing it with missing just one season.
You’re not allowed to play at 2 grounds during the same season under PL rules. They were told this 3 years ago when they suggested playing some games at MK dons, and were ****ed clean off by Scudamore. They’d have to apply for special dispensation from the PL which would then have to ratified by the rest of the division if they want to extend their Wembley stay.
I know that but they already have permission for a couple of games and presumably the two more announced so it will be interesting to see how it goes should they need another extension. I imagine it would get through but it's more hassle they don't need.
**** knows. The Fulham game was given back as 1/19th of the cost, which you could then use to get your old seat at Wembley or not. The club's ****ing useless at this **** though, so I've obviously heard nothing from them, yet. The same rules will probably apply, which is quite ****, as people have moved all over the place for the new stadium. The whole thing has made the club look extremely amateurish. Combine that with our complete lack of transfer activity and you have a very pissed off fanbase. That's despite largely playing good football and achieving positive results on the pitch. Very stupid and badly handled.
Sounds like you boys have been levyd. Sell you some season tickets - have to watch them at wembley! please log in to view this image
One of the electrical contracting companies that I use, in the south east, has lost a few sparks to the Spuds new ground. Reportedly paying £450 a day for sparks?
