Nah, pretty sure all those shops, supermarkets and bars that sell and distill flavoured gin wouldn't put themselves at risk by selling liquour instead and pretending it's gin. I'm talking about gin, end of.

Most are gin liqueurs... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....d-reviews/gmp26856706/flavoured-gin-liqueurs/
He did agree that some flavoured gins are actual gins. But a lot of the stuff we buy in shops are in fact gin liqueurs .
Btw I wasn't knocking Gin earlier, all said tongue in cheek. But in truth Gin is one of my least favourite alcoholic drinks, but still wouldn't say no if it was put in front of me, I just probably wouldn't buy one. I would always go for a Rum or a JD. Happily drink wine if I'm at a party, but would never put ice in it, but noted Chief's point and quite a valid one if the wine hasn't been chilled properly.
Who's this we? Any flavoured gin I have ever bought is gin. I've never bought a liqueur gin and I wasn't referring to liqueur gins. I'm fully aware they exist though.
Anyway, straight up normal, no flavour quality dry London gin is the way to go. Either with tonic or with ginger beer. I've tried the rums, and they're nice, but they aren't as refreshing as an ice cold G&T.
I’m not drinking anything with rhubarb or raspberries in it mate, you can **** that right off. Back in the day, I’d have drunk pretty much anything that had alcohol in it, including Gin. But I wouldn’t try and pretend it was in any way glamorous or sophisticated. Incidentally, my Mum and my Aunties all drank gin. Because they’re women.
You did drink the hortus rhubarb gin though? Sure you did, as ya Mrs got fruity on it you said. That is a gin liqueur. Agree though that the best gin is just a normal dry London gin. I’m not even a fan Hendricks. Take a tanqueray over all of it.
She's had that, the rhubarb gin I was referring to was the Bath Distillery stuff. https://www.thebathgincompany.co.uk/products I have had a drink of the Hortus but that's not what I was on about. She gets fruity as **** on pink gin!
Not a fan of Hendricks at all. Bombay Sapphire is a decent off the shelf one. Sainsbury's finest is also great and good value. I'd default to Tanquaray though, that's a top drop. Tanquaray 10 even better.
