According to the Belfast Telegraph, Pompey have signed talented 19 year old midfielder Terry Devlin from Glentoran for an undisclosed fee. He is a Northern Ireland under 21 international, who has attended training camps with the full N.I. international side. Apparently, we beat the likes of Crystal Palace, Sunderland, and Stoke City to his signature. EDIT: Pompey have signed him on a three year contract, with the option of a further year. He scored 6 goals last season in 44 games.
It won't last but the Portsmouth fans on Twitter are happy for once. Though four signings in two days is a bit out of character. Good though, as I always feel pre season friendlies before you've brought in any/many players are kind of a waste.
Signing number five is Wigan Athletic winger Anthony Scully, aged 24, for an undisclosed fee, on a two year contract, with an option for a third year. The 5' 8" Republic of Ireland under 21 winger, was originally in the West Ham academy. He made his name at Lincoln City, where he scored 25 goals in 85 matches.

I agree Ides. signings so far seem to be in the 'may, or may not, enhance the squad' category. We need to sign a heavyweight with an established reputation!!.

I wish him and all the other arrivals a great career at Fratton. Prediction for the season. 83 points and 4th!!

It sees the Irishman return to Fratton Park, having skippered the first team to the League Two title in dramatic fashion at the end of the 2016/17 campaign. He departed that summer and ended his playing career with spells at Coventry and Notts County, remaining with the latter club as assistant head coach. Doyle then followed boss Ian Burchnall to Forest Green to work in a similar capacity, but departed back in January. He will now be looking to help develop Pompey’s academy hopefuls, working alongside academy manager Greg Miller, academy head of coaching James Barlow and lead professional development phase coach Sam Hudson.
