Looking forward to the Wembley game....will it be televised ?. Will Argyle TV have it ?

That might be a teeny weeny clue......would stop you getting a speeding ticket on the way home from another Wembley defeat.

This is the run in for the top six.

Need to hope Barnsley run out of steam.

Exeter could influence the promotion race....extraordinarily they have to play all six top teams.....they could hinder us or help us.....time will tell.

Sorry I know it's each to their own but I find all of this scrutinising of what people "think" will be the outcome when they have absolutely no idea than the next person quite frustrating and a waste of everyone's time. I have read this sort of thing on pasoti endlessly and I've read it on the Ipswich board and uncle tom cobbley and alls board. There is no realistic points total for any of the clubs involved. What there is is points available and teams will get what they win. If people are so sure of their predictions then I would suggest they get down the bookies having sold their house and bang it on. I for one don't agree we have to worry about anyone other than ourselves. Win the same as or more than the others and we get promoted.

Yeah, we've got 4 home games against moderate opposition at best. Our last 6 home games resulted in 5 wins and a draw, 16 points..

I could see us winning all 4 remaining homes which takes us to 92 points.

Morecambe have taken 1 point from their last 6 homes, and Port Vale 7. Now our away record hasn't been good and needs to improve but if we can't get 4 points out of those two then we don't deserve to go up. That takes us to 96. with two harder games at Exeter and Shrewsbury,

The latter are 10th, 5 points off the pace and have taken 7 from their last 5, home and away. They could be mentally on the beach by the time we play them in 3 and a half weeks' time. Form doesn't matter against Exeter.

I'm not taking anything for granted but we're in the driving seat and only Sheffield Wednesday would be ahead of us if (IF) they all won all of their games in hand. Automatic promotion is ours to lose although being champions is more problematic as it requires Wednesday to hit a bad patch. Even they have taken 1 point from their last 2 games, admittedly against Barnsley and Bolton, so nobody's perfect.

On the Ipswich board they have gone from one extreme to the other in what will happen. One minute every other team will be scared to play them and the next doom has set in and they will be lucky to be in the play offs. They fear Barnsley yet think we will fade away. They have gone from we will fade away one minute to why do we relentlessly go on winning in the next. One minute they know what will happen then suddenly they have no idea as it's so open. Plymouth of course being the smallest of the likely are the ones who will always fall on their arse. If you read pasoti then to be fair it is just as bad except it's some of our own thinking we will fail. First we are up and then we are down and we have one win and are back up again.

Our away form has not been that bad this season really. We have won 7 and drawn 7 with 5 losses. We have played all of the top sides home and away so far. So 28 points gained away. We average just a fraction over 2 points a game so far this season. That is promotion form if maintained and that is all we need to worry about. Let the others worry about us.

Before you say it, this isn't my own work. Overall, our away record may be OK but recently it hasn't been brilliant. Based on the last six away games, we're 14th.

We're 4th in the equivalent home match table but up there, margins are tight: we're one of 5 clubs with 5 wins and a draw behind Barnsley, who have 6 consecutive home wins.

Of course, you have to look behind the results, our last 6 aways were:

Accrington - won
Barnsley - lost
Peterborough - lost
Oxford - won
Sheffield Wednesday - lost
Ipswich - drew

We've lost but perhaps at places where it's understandable.

Well, at half time, it's 0-0 at Peterborough as the home side have withstood an onslaught from Derby: 60% possession, 5 shots to nil, corners 4 to nil.
