These look ridiculous odds

We have AJ who has had one fight this year and who almost got ko'd against Klitschko last year at odds of 1/6

Then we have LH who made history in late October as he claimed a fourth world championship title, joining Juan Manuel Fangio, Michael Schumacher, Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel as drivers with four or more titles. That achievement also saw Hamilton become Britain’s most successful F1 driver. The 32-year-old currently holds records for the all-time most career points (2,610), the most wins at different circuits (24), the all-time most pole positions (72) and the most grand slams in a season (3).

If there is any justice then LH should be the odds on fav and take the title. To me it is premature to give it to AJ. If he goes unbeaten and defeats Wilder, then yes. But until then.....................

Hamilton is a tax avoider. I know some on here reckon that's all fine and dandy but it will affect his wider appeal and thus have an impact on his votes. Still I'd wager he rather keep the £3 million he saved in VAT than add to his SPOTY collection.

Well that says it all doesn't in Chan. That didn't even occur to me. I thought it had something to do with sporting achievement. I suggest we take the 7/1 LH and create some fake news on AJ

Not a fan of his sport but for me this should go to Lewis Hamilton. I've only heard of 6 of the nominees

Mo Farah
Chris Froome
Lewis Hamilton
Anthony Joshua
Harry Kane
Johanna Konta

I'm sure Joshua is going to win it, but I don't believe it is deserved.

He's basically beat an old man who had already been dethroned 18 months before by Tyson Fury. If he unifies the division next year, then I might think it's deserved.

Hamilton doesn't deserve it either, the tax evading aside, he's won what is a 2 horse race, as only his team mate has as good a car as him. Let's not forget it took his old team mate who beat him last year to retire for him to win the title again.

If I was having a vote I'd probably go with Chris Froome, winning 1 Tour De France is hard enough, but to do it 4 times is some achievement.

Unlikely he'll get it with the failed drugs test hanging over him plus he's not very likeable which doesn't endear him to general public and after all the award really is just a popularity contest.

I think the feud with Bradley Wiggins, has damaged his public image. I don't think it's his personality stopping him winning the award, as I could sit here and reel off loads of dull characters who have won the award.

As far as the drugs test is concerned, it was a legal asthma medication. Admittedly it was over the allowed limits, but doubt there was any deliberate wrong doing going on there.

Its not a sport i'm really into is cycling but personally speaking whenever i've seen or heard interviews with Froome he seems like a bit of a prick

Joshua 1/8. If it hadn't been for the Referendum odds, I would say "What's the point?"

Mo Farah isnt even British. Must be lean times, Anthony Joshua and Lewis Hamilton.... sports nobody even cares about. Boxings been dead for decades, especially the heavyweight division, and car racing is for midlife crisis candidates.

At least someone likeable won it. Maybe personality came into it this year
