Yep that was me and team performance is more important.....individual mistakes are exactly what they are and can be ironed out......There will always be mistakes.everyone and every team make them .fact!
A much better performance, my "constant nagging" about CM not featuring finally got its day and I dont think we missed him at all AS did seem to put himself about a bit, hopefully not injured to the degree he would miss more than 1 game!!!!! I am wondering is NP taking the opportunity to make sure he has "a squad " capable to avoid spending in January. Bit of rotation!
Another fact our individual mistakes have cost us points going into double figures, Not every team suffer that badly.
Luckily you added normally as a caveat, that never happened on Thursday night, mistakes cost us dear along with a shocking referee.
One of the positive things to have come out from Thursdays game was it was one of the best performances of the season..... I look more at performances, you look more from the individual mistakes....let's leave it there shall we?
I would like to leave it there but I have to address your nonsense comment about what I look forward to, the only thing I have ever looked forward to in all my years of support is 100% commitment and consistency, 2 things lacking for over 2 years, individual mistakes have cost us far more than most teams and has (even though we have not been playing well) cost us a comfortable league position. I also look forward to a starting 11 who look like they give a ****, like they did on Thursday night.
I’m sure there are teams up on the downs that will give you 100% commitment and consistency.. I look for team performances. A team that shows signs of gelling with each other, fluency, intelligent runs and passes, having an understanding of each other’s moves.. to me that outweighs the odd mistake.. we’ve been making most mistakes through bad decisions, normally bad decisions are made when you aren’t performing well.. You stick with your philosophy and I’m happy to stick with mine.. but I’m sure mine are nonsense..
No philosophy at all, just normal expectation of a normal fan, one who expects that 100% commitment goes without saying and that consistency will come with that commitment. Your comment about bad decisions beggars belief, every mistake in every walk of life comes from a bad decision, the trick is learning from those bad decisions and not repeating those bad decisions, something that has plagued us this season. It of course doesn’t help not being awarded a nailed on penalty, but I expect you are right there as well.
