    I say change it to MAGPIE PARK a la Pro Evo 3(?). Good old non copyright infringing names, hope SJP returns to Pro Evo one day...

    Though it's painful to say, his "business plan" will see that the club outlasts his ownership, at which point his tacky logos will be removed. A question I know won't be answered is who's paying for the Sports Direct signage? I would assume when Northern Rock paid us ten million (?) then cash from that sum is spent funding the material costs of signage. If, as widely suspected, Sports Direct havn't slipped the club a few quid to have their images up; are Sports Direct or Newcastle United footing the bill for all this blue and red? Many clubs are taking the naming rights route so it's only natural to follow suit, sadly his business plan has many holes in it. For instance if his cheaply assembled team performs poorly then the club won't be getting much airtime to advertise his or any other business @ St. James Park.

    That people continue to defend Ashley sickens me. It's not just his general running of the club which is ****e, he does things like this which display nothing but hatred and contempt for the fans.

    Definitely a sportsdirect@ sign going up there. I've had a tip off from one of the employees of the signmakers commissioned to make them. Not sure what the second part is yet, whether it's @sid james park or @newcastle united.

    Remember back when Smith still counted as a centre-forward? xD

    Why replace the letters? Give them a wesh if they're dirty. Thats what didn't add up to me, so i done a little investigating.
