Exactly! It's a well known fact the club continued to have operating losses during the 09-10 relegation season

That is one thing that irritates me. Fine, the club have spent more than just transfer fees but they go to extreme lengths to point it out anytime the question is asked. All of these have been used a reason to explain why the club are not using the £35m on transfer fees: new dugouts, under soil heating at the training ground, agent fees, new contracts, transfer fees, wages for new signings and ground improvements. I don't see any other clubs that have sold players for big money, like Sunderland and Aston Villa, saying these kind of things.

Where do you suggest the money for all those things come from them? Villa haven't spent any money bar Given. Lerner has also put Villa in hock by taking loans out.

I'm not saying the money should come from elsewhere but the main priority should be the recruitment of new players and then if there is money available then upgrade stuff the like dugout. I just think it is all PR spin so they can say 'there is no money left due to this, this and this'. Get the transfer window done and dusted then do things like dugouts etc.

He's only majority shareholder and deputy exec chairman at Sports Direct, and I highly doubt there is no cash involved in the sponsorship.

Yes, because it makes sense that he'd spend money so he has an excuse to not spend money? Players have more resale value than dugouts, so if it was about him saving money, it wouldn't have been spent on anything.

Theres not some conspiracy to **** over the fans, he's not up in his office evilly laughing saying how he's going to pay for undersoil heating as a middlefinger to the fans who cry out for the next...[I still don't know who everyone realistically thinks should be bought?]

As a mackem you probably think keep your nose out but putting the rivalry to one side you have to get this man out of your club. He is pulling the heart out of it vain by vain and seems to not give a **** what he does. If the above is true its just another attempt to piss you all off.

If he was at SAFC I would be devastated. His true love is Spurs yet he is using Newcastle as a toy something to pi55 about with. And yes all the bad press he gets keeps him in the papers so he does not have to worry about advertising the fans of NUFC give him all the advertising he needs.

Obvously I am a proud SAFC fan and might need my tin hat due to fellow mackems giving me grief about this post. But I am man enough to put myself in other peoples shoes sometimes and see the other side of things and I know how I would feel if he was in charge of my beloved SAFC. Thank god for Quinn and Co.

Get him out before its to late!

Yeah, exactly. I've not got anything against you, but I've seen a lot of people (including some Newcastle fans) going on about how they need to get rid of him.
Problem is that no one, that has the money, wants to buy the club. We're stuck with him for the time being, whether we like it or not.

That's just gonna hurt the club, not him. Players would be sold to make up for the financial losses, and even less money would be spent on bringing in new ones.
