With you there Dr. Kimble, also thought Nathan Ake was brilliant in the midweek game, he seems to be the forgotten one. He played almost as a defensive mid and was the best on the pitch for mine.
I still want our attackers to look up more. I think they are capable and extremely talented, but they revert to type sometimes and need regular mental prodding to get out of certain patterns of play. You heard me on this many times guys, the Dfer catechism, 'Whiteboard thinking, playing on rails'. We can just say oh well one of those days, but I think we could of improved as the game went on. To give you an idea of my perspective, yes we are at a very high standard, yes compared to The Chelsea I've watched over the decades this team is at the top, yes I am very happy with the Big picture, but there is no ceiling to my thinking and when you strive to compete and win every time there can't be one. My critique tends to be now small chunk, the fine tuning.
