Just your daily reminder that all American sporting events are, by their very design, impossible to take seriously And there's no way to tell which stadium this is taking place at, either...
Great fight. Heavyweight boxing is in rude health at present. Fury looked invincible- the height, the reach, the size/weight, the skill, quick hands and feet, sharp mind and solid jaw. Does he have a weakness?
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...ter-homophobic-racist-and-misogynistic-emails Can I just support one team that doesn't get caught up in racism scandals? People defending Gruden claiming the emails were sent 10 years ago are being totally belligerent and obtuse. And the comparison to Deshaun Watson is void because unlike Gruden, he isn't in a position of authority. What concerns me was that it wasn't the racism that prompted a resignation, it was the homophobia. Neither are right but how can it be right that racism in sport just goes unchecked?
As there's a lot of people using the "Buy you have an iPhone, and as they do deals with Saudi Arabia you can't criticise WWE having a deal with Saudi Arabia!!!" non-argument online, I'm guessing that it's time for their annual spreading of the cheeks for Mohammed bin Salman's amusement

In terms of "native" ownership, ENIC is probably as good as it gets for some time regarding owner "moral high ground" (and that is far from perfect) .
The list of British owners is rather short, though. Us, Brentford, Brighton, Burnley, a small bit of Palace, Norwich and West Ham. A couple of gamblers, a chef and some porn barons!
At worst we could have the fifth-best English owners, what with ENIC not defrauding an entire stadium out of the British taxpayer
This got loads of sarcastic cheers but I imagine you could easily get 500-1000 more than any football game due to the segregation/stewarding etc.
