I'd imagine she is recovered from the hamstring injury but has not been able to train effectively to be in top shape. She said she was in prime shape before the injury a few weeks ago.

A decent low scoring game in the Hundred again.
Billings - another top England 2nd XI batsman finished it well.
IsTom Curran an asset or a liability? Not sure.

Second heat of the 200m mens semi final, the US sprinter eased off 5m from the line and two others overtook him. Unfortunately it seems he'll still get through as a fastest loser. What a shame, I always hope these arrogant idiots fail when they do that.

I'll always remember the Winter Olympics when somebody (an American, IIRC) celebrated her snowboard cross win when going over the final mound/hill/whatever

    She finished fourth...

I think they tried to throw a trick off the final drop and completely ****ed it. It was hilarious, though absolutely gutting for the rider of course. What a wally.

That Norwegian lad smashed the WR in the 400m hurdles.
His time would beat many top athletes in the flat 400m!!

The odd thing is that some of these people are so supremely arrogant that they are prepared to bet four years of training and incredible hard work/expensive drugs just for the chance to show how much better they are that they don't need to put 100% in. And I don't think the coaches tell them to do that, they're just assholes. And even when it works I have no respect for them, because they clearly have no respect for their fellow athletes. But no matter how many times this showboating fails, they'll continue to do it.

They always do it in the Premier League.
Team A v Team B. Super Striker A faces off against Magic Midfielder B.
Except one's suspended and the other's injured.
