Many years ago when our dog was a ball obsessed pup I had him off the lead well away from a cricket match played between Indian and Pakistani teams batsmen hit a massive six and my dog had it away with the ball before the fielder , took ages to get it back from him and by that time it was soaked in dog flob and the leather looked like the Aussies had been to work on it , needless to say one teams bowlers were pissed off as the ball was seaming well
