Nissanka's innings was a delight. Totally dominated what has to be said was a very lack lustre England attack.
And although it probably wouldn't have made any difference in the result, but I thought Bashir was seriously underbowled in that 2nd innings.

Likewise Root, he has the knack of getting a wicket

Wow! Some comeback by England in the T20. Looking down the barrel of a 200+ chase, Archer and Mahmood wrap up the last 5 wickets for 10 runs and are chasing 180. <applause>

Yes, but bloody Sam Curran goes for 30 in his first over. Again.
I wouldn’t pick him. He’s a bits and pieces cricketer. Not quite good enough at any discipline. Pick gun players

He came back well in his 2nd over to be fair.
But a young inexperienced team is showing its weaknesses... Might reach 118 but not 180 <laugh>

Livingstone does the biz for England with a magnificent 87. But bloody hell...some of those last few decisions by himself and his colleagues were dubious to put it mildly!

The last 8 England wickets today reminds me of being a Spurs fan lately, the same **** up over and over again

A lot of it was totally brainless but that’s the way they want to play apparently.
Brook keeps getting cameos of 30 odd. When he improves his shot selection, he might realise he could be de Villiers.

Great innings today. What a sublime talent.
He played with his thinking head on today - which he should do more often

Good from Duckett, brilliant from Brook, ridiculous from Livingstone.
England looking good to make it 2-2

England thrash the Aussies by 186 runs!
Credit to Harry Brook for his captaincy in keeping the pace bowlers on as they were taking wickets. Had it backfired, the spinners would have had to bowl almost all of the last 20 overs, but it didn’t.

Agreed, but equally, as a fast bowler I wouldn't have wanted to have been coming on and off for 2 and 3 over spells in 9-10°.

Playing cricket in England on 27th September is unreal. But it seems to be a regular occurrence now. The county sides play half their games in April and September! It used to be a summer game. How long before they need under soil heating at the grounds and floodlights on all day?
