I think we knew that India’s bowling attack were going to defend that total on this pitch.
England needed pace on. Not able to adapt to playing top class spinners on a slow, low pitch.

I tried to make a drinking game where I take a shot every time Emma Raducanu pumps her fist and yells like the worst American-coached player whenever she wins a random point

I needed my stomach pumped twice by the end of the first set

Does anyone know if there's some kind of beef between Cameron Norrie and Jack Draper? Because there's been times where Norrie seems determined to clown Draper on the court, and it's weird

Is it too late to suggest that Judy Murray is a deeply unpleasant shrew?

Jimmy Anderson walking out to the guard of honour, who the hell is cutting onions at 11.00
We will miss him but it's good to know that he's joining the coaching team

RIP Ray Reardon, a great champion whose peak was just before snooker hit the big time, but a fabulous ambassador for the sport and always seemed a genuinely decent and funny man.

    Schauffele has taken charge.
Surprised that a number of US golfers have fared so well with the weather and the rough. Links courses are so alien to them.

Quite a day for sport - England on top in the Test after great hundreds from Brook and Root.
Last day of the Tour de France is a time trial. The superhuman Pogacar is set to win. Will probably win the stage too.
Piastri wins his first GP in Hungary (after team orders to Lando Norris).
And Humphries v MvG in the World Matchplay darts later tonight.
