A Major Global brand you say ???

You must log in or register to see images

I thought they were a Korean company but they hail from Japan and were part of the Nissan group who decided to make a strategic move by setting Infiniti as a stand alone luxury car maker :)

Would be a good one, they spend a huge amount with Red Bull F1.

Seems everyone is talking about Nexons and Infiniti but I wonder if it will b somebody out of left field ??

Trotters independent traders for example...<laugh>

Virgin media have a big link with Swansea as a major employer, and they have just been taken over by one of the biggest company's out there and the biggest internet providers in Europe. That company is called Liberty, make a good name for the stadium as well!...Failing that,Lewis's pies

The Virgin media story makes good sense too.. no doubt this is all linked to our European campaign next season so im guessing there is a product of worth out there to go on the shirts.

how about us having Rossi's as a sponser if it all goes wrong ?? :)

Avarto are making Swansea the location for their flagship building, they are owned by Bertlesmann who in turn are somewhat a community company, being not for profit and all. They are pretty global with 63,000 employees (over 100,000 for the whole of Bertlesmann) and an income of over €15,000,000,000 a year.

It's a company that likes it's audience to know it is on the scene and now it is doing finance work in the UK with a view to aggressively expand, it's name on a Premier League shirt would be the right way to go about that.

They are part of the same group that owns BMG (the music company) and they own the company that owns the rights to X Factor. <laugh>

Different sport but I loved the refs in rugby Union being sponsored by specsavers. quality!
Naming rights for the stadium is a good point, Liberty is already a company name so it's no skin off our nose if they rename it. The 'Stevejack stadium' has a ring to it I'll just check for change behind the sofa...

New sponsors, new players, ML at the helm, Premier league, cup winners... have I just woken up from crazy dream?

The naming rights are the council's remit, I doubt that neither the swans or ospreys have any financial benefit or much control over it. Remember its a council facility and both clubs are tenants in it.

Given the messages about Swans finances, community element and general ethos of the club Avarto would be a great choice.
Tata also a socially aware company but although local will be more appropriate for Cardiff.

Still thing the Swansea.com is brilliant - our name, local but the style gave it a Spanish feel.
