I'd rather be 17th on goal difference, and a point above 20th, than 18th, 10 points clear of 20th but 3 points behind 17th.

But that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm suggesting I'd rather 16th be 20 points clear of us, but have us 10 points clear of 18th.

 

We need all teams below us to lose this weekend, except of course if they are playing each other when a draw is acceptable.

 

And so far we have Sunderland mullering Newcastle and West Ham beating Swansea. We can't rely on other teams.

 

We are currently ONE BRITISH POINT above the relegation places. {involuntary shudder}
