    Life, Tetleys doesn't count as beer does it?? Given all the decent stuff you can get in Yorkshire - Sam Smiths, Black Sheep, Tim Taylors etc - one wonders why they still serve this smooth flow sh&t. I think its Salters that even ices down IPA. Geoff Boycott's phrase about someone needing shooting springs to mind!!!

    Tetleys <yikes> Boddingtons is the drink of choice in Cheshire m8,but personally go for Cider,Newcastle Brown or Guinness.

    I drink anything really....Newkie broon when I can get it, used to only drink cider but got sick of the acid attacks. I think I've tried Black sheep in Billys bar and IPA in the Whistlestop...loved Bass, Lorimers and Mc Kewans back in the 80s.....<ale>

    To clear up any confusion, I said I drank in Spencers, salters and the Whistlestop, I didn't say where anyone else should drink...I like Spencers because it's very hard to get barred...:grin:
