    I understand they've been charged with failing to control their whinging .........errr, sorry I meant 'players' <laugh>

    The penalty was deemed to be correct but the sending off was wrong because a defender was going round the back of Elliot.

    That makes a difference.

    Don`t recall seeing another defender in the frame.

    I will give my guest QWOP some respect here, as soon as Collocini did his bit, the lad shouted penalty and did not defend it at all. He saw it as a stone wall penalty and I was probably the one who had doubts. When I played as a kid in the mid 60's, you could well chin some ****er and fall down yourself and it was a drop-ball..<laugh>

    You just told yourself in your head.. ha'way the lads..<ok>

    I reckon it was the elbow away from his body that swung the ref's mind. No doubt Colo was not tracking the ball and the barge was what it was but from his position the ref could see only one thing.

    I have managed to get a freeze frame of the moment immediately after Fletcher got hit now bearing in mind the ball is travelling towards the keeper (who is already on the deck so ain't going much further forward) do you think;
    A) Fletcher is going to get there?
    B) Anyone is getting round to cover?

    Its yes and no for me so in my eyes the ref made the correct decision - by the way the light reflection is off my bald patch <laugh>

    Cheers, that's what I was looking to post for Grandpops <ok>

    Nah, there's no one there, it's a definite penalty and Fletcher was going for goal on his good foot.

    And Colback is doing what he does best <laugh>

    Cheers mate. <ok>

    I was sure there was nobody else anywhere near. Quite why KJ (and his bald patch) was sneaking round behind the keeper I`ve no idea.

    It does give Tufty Mac an excuse though and it also means Colo can play (loosely speaking) so it`s all good. <ok>

    Here it is from the best angle. 1000000000000% penner. I don't think the keeper is even going to get it. I think the FA decided Tiote(I think it is) I going to get back. I also think he could have got back to attempt an interception. Right pen decision, wrong red. The mags were going in behind anyway, nobody knows what would have happened as our entire 2nd half tactic was built around picking them off as they pressured with ten men.
