No I don't have an issue with people responding but I simply would not involve a child in the debate, because I have acted in a certain way on this board tonight will obviously not give people a very good impression of me.

Frankly I don't give a **** about that because I can take it and it's more than justified.

But making assessments of my parenting abilities on some random comments made on a forum is simply not acceptable on so many levels.

I would not dream of making such generalisations based on somebody's rants.

Having watched it again last night, I have to bring this up for anybody who's going to say it was a penalty but not a sending off 'because the keeper would have got the ball first'.

If Kompany done that to Martial in our game, it would have been 'just good defending'.

If the keeper would have got the ball first, then it doesn't matter if Fletcher was knocked down with a coming together... it's not even a foul in that scenario. The ref left himself no choice but to red card him once the foul was given, which is bad refereeing again. Coloccini was silly though, he didn't have to make the referee make that decision.

McClaren's men deserved to lose that game, from what I gather they continued to try and dominate the match whilst being a man light, they should have sat back and countered and played to their strengths but they tried to dominate the game with 10 men and that was just naive.

 

FWIW Coloccini is ****ing terrible anyway so they might discover, through default a better partnership at the back if they choose not to appeal.

 

According to them he's the best centre half in the league.
