Away game in Moscow - I expected a draw. We played like the home team though and should have won easily.

This was absolutely pathetic. Total domination and control without winning is not a good performance. The Moscow team was so poor and couldn't string two passes together.

 

I thought Mane, Moreno and Coutinho were really good - Hendo has done well in last two games, and Lovren dealt with everything.

Very Frustrating result but the overall performance was good.

 

before the game i said a draw would be a perfectly good result but it doesn't feel like that right now. How we ended up at 1-1 beggars belief. Some of the "finishing" was up to our normal defensive standards of incompetence.

 

You haven't got a striker mate. Firmino as the central striker is meh. Stick a proper finisher in that position and you'd have buried them, as they were ****e

 

in some ways my favourite moment of the game was Lovren getting ball & man in first half - proper tackling

In fairness to Firmino - he has 42 goals + assists in 47 games as a CF.

But when he’s out of form, he’s really poor.

 

When you give a player cameos here and there, you can’t expect him to be sharp. Like the rest, his positioning was excellent but the final bit was lacking.

 

Obviously we should have won but a point away in Russia isn't that bad ready. We'll smash'em at Anfield, we should beat Maribor H&A putting us on 11pts plus whatever happens against Sevilla
