Qualifying results. Marciello saved his tyres for the second qualifying - great strategy that will see him take pole position for the qualification race. please log in to view this image
4 more years of useless then... Todt unopposed for re-election. What kind of election is this? It's no election really.
Whats more corrupt is the FIA have been given a 1% stake in F1 on the stock market with a veto if anyone tries to dethrone Bernie. The running of our sport is proper dodgy. More dodgy than Serie A..
It's like FIFA; the president imposes a rule that anyone who challenges him has to have a certain amount of support, then goes about securing obligations to himself to ensure that no-one can challenge him.
Heres the Veto: http://www.f1reader.com/news/ecclestone-confirms-fia-had-veto-over-his-removal-86978 and heres the money: http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/nov/10/bernie-ecclestone-fia-formula-one-agreement Im surprised all these dodgy goings on and news of the on going court case have been so quiet.
Seems it is actually easy to overtake on a street circuit
They're all in it to line their own pockets... It still amazes me when people within the sport spout on about the great things that Bernie has done for F1. All he has done is bleed it dry IMO. We have teams that can't even afford drivers wages, yet he's worth billions. Why are so many people in the sport so blind to this? The sport is in crisis and nobody is doing or saying a thing.
What happened to that guy making big noises about possibly running because the way the FIA is organised needs a radical overhaul? I take it he couldn't run because of such organisation? Ridiculous.
it's clear he had one of the best cars on there, but there are some brave moves there, and very opportunistic ones. I think my fave was the treble around 3.30ish
Sorry if this has been posted before , but I found it interesting . More convinced than ever about lack of respect for Webber !
Perez is leaving McLaren on a 'High'...... please log in to view this image McLaren were selling these flags at the race
If that were to happen I think there will be anarchy (or if he croaks it whichever happens first) and there will be a huge power struggle between the teams and the FIA. The split series scenario would reappear again and F1 would be back to the 1982 situation of two different organisations trying to run F1.
