91 years of age does not excuse this. Whatever personality traits Bernie has, to have achieved the successes he has in life, is still no excuse for such out of touch comments. Sorry Bernie, but NO, you are wrong. I really want to let rip but won't.

 

The man is an absolute tool. Always has been. People still go on about the great things he did for the sport, yet all I ever see are the literal billions he managed to earn from it. Glad he's gone, now I just wish people would stop putting a microphone in front of him.

 

I think a lot's been said on this thread already about dinosaurs. It's just better to ignore these people who have no relevance to the sport anymore.

 

Exactly why people need to stop putting microphones under their nose, because they say/do stupid stuff, it gets plastered everywhere, and then the ability to ignore it vanishes.

 

Problem is publishing their XXXX just creates more readers/viewers for the media!!!

 

Thankfully there's also more constructive thinking in F1...

Intriguing that they're going to do physiological and psychological tests on Alonso and Ocon, as baselines for comparison.

It would be intriguing to see those for other drivers too.

I'd have liked to watch a psychologist trying to do an assessment on Kimi.

 

Imo they can do the tests but it's about giving chances and finding the talent as everyone is different.

 

Alpine are wasting their time. As much as we would like to see a successful female F1 driver it’s not going to happen. The only way it’s going to happen is if someone like Fernando decides he wants to identify as female and start being called Fernanda.

Hamilton is not whinging when he speaks out about issues.

He's a whingebag on the radio in races and always has been. It's the opposite side of the same coin that makes be called verstappen a brat.

Hamilton moans verstappen is a petulant, potty mouth nasty bully.

Overall I've swung more to Hamilton at this point as whinging is ignorable

There’s enough cancel culture bullshit going on in the world as it is. Bernie said his crap about Putin, that’s his right, and he’s being judged for it. It’s called free speech.
I called Hamilton whining because he was saying older voices shouldn’t have a platform and people like Piquet will set things back decades. He’s wrong on both counts.
