Clarkson on Top Gear = good, Clarkson on everything else feels he has to live up to his reputation of being a narrow-minded egotistical prick and does an even better job of it than Eddie Jordan... He doesn't even like F1!
The reason Clarkson hosts TG is because he's an idiot. He's a funny idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. I miss Top Gear from eight or so seasons ago.
OT, but the Indycar championship is on the line this weekend with Will Power having a 36-point lead going into the final two races with a maximum 108 up for grabs. for those who don't know the scoring, you get 1 point for pole, 2 points for the most laps led, 50 for the win, 40 for second, 30 for third and 10 even if you just start the race. So if he gets 18 points over Ryan-Hunter Reay this weekend in Baltimore, he'll secure the crown. I don't watch IndyCar as I don't get SPEED but I try to watch highlights of it. Go Will!
Ascanelli (Toro Rosso) has resigned from his post as technical director. This is from a official Toro Rosso press release. He's been on "Holiday" for a while so this is hardly news. He's probs going to Ferrari?
The end part of that article makes me want to barf. I'm sure a gold plated bath tub or a crystal bog will soon help put it behind her.
I slightly heard this on the radio on the way home yesterday. I thought they said Bernie had been jailed for 5 years for blackmailiing

I'm pretty sure it's been rumoured that he's going to Ferrari. His replacement is former Sauber and Force India guru James Key, who did a decent job at Sauber... but there must be a reason he keeps leaving jobs.
Yes, I don't like the Apprentice but if a subtitled version of this appears on YouTube I might watch a couple of episodes. I could imagine him trying to coerce one team into crashing a car and having a road closed to divert customers to their burger stand or something.
For those who may have struggled to get onto Not606 tonight, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19549367 Yes thats where our domain is registered
Since nobody on here is showing much interest in the young driver test, I'll just post the results here: PHP: Pos Driver Team Time Laps 1. Jules Bianchi Force India-Mercedes 1m16.467s 117 2. Sam Bird Mercedes 1m17.482s + 1.015 125 3. Davide Rigon Ferrari 1m17.925s + 1.458 163 Interestingly Rigon was only a tenth faster than Bianchi's time yesterday, while Sam Bird was 1.6 seconds faster than his best lap yesterday. Bianchi in the Force India was over 2 seconds faster than Razia was yesterday.
Bianchi is quick. No wonder Ferrari are apparently trying to get him in at Force India or Sauber next year.
Results from the third day, Bianchi quickest once again: PHP: Pos Driver Team Time Laps 1. Jules Bianchi Ferrari 1m16.985s 136 2. Rodolfo Gonzalez Force India-Mercedes 1m18.018s + 1.033 79 3. Brendon Hartley Mercedes 1m18.671s + 1.686 87 The track was wet in the morning but dried out in the afternoon.
