Ah, when Prost deliberately turned in on someone over-taking him on the inside to put him out of the race. They didn't DSQ Heidfeld and give him a suspended ban, where's the consistency?
The annual top 10 list by team bosses. Arguably the most relevant list as it's made up by those who do the hiring.
Apparently all the drivers have now signed up to the drivers association. Which will last to January if they're lucky.
They're concerned the meetings will now take too long with Kimi having signed up. Apparently he never stops talking.
Some more truly awesome journalism by the BBC First all-British team set for IndyCar Series as Carlin sign Max Chilton http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/42329741 Max Chilton to race in the first all British Indycar Team............with an American teammate, and an Italian chassis, and an American or Japenese engine. Other than that, pure British, except for the Americans that will doubtless be part of the staff. But other than that, 100% British. Definitely.
Not a single mention of a current F1 driver in there. Surprised it got past the editor-in-chief without at least a passing mention of Hamilton.
Ok thats ok then... I'll read it now it has mention of an F1 driver in the last sentence. Good editing... Edit: corrected grammatical error. Vettel also made an error in Baku.
Oh do shut up Max . No not THAT Max , the Max nobody gives a toss about . http://en.f1i.com/news/288783-max-chilton-formula-1-isnt-really-sport.html
It comes to something when you agree with Nelson Piquet. But it's difficult to call Alonso the best all round river when his skills don't extend beyond the track. https://www.gpfans.com/en/articles/417/piquet-everywhere-alonso-goes-in-a-mess/
There is some truth in there. Whilst you can understand some of his recent frustrations, it is surprising Honda didn't part ways earlier with all the public criticsm he gave in press conferences, over the radio etc (justified or not, as a highly paid professional and ambassador for McLaren he should have been more, er, polite, about it). In a sport and marketing exercise worth hundreds of millions a year that kind of behavior is looked on poorly by sponsors. Is that maybe a reason why McLaren have also struggled to attract sponsors recently?
